Pass the Equality Act

Non-discrimination protections that apply to race, religion, and gender should be expanded to include the LGBTQ community. Passing the Equality Act would explicitly ban discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender. Enacting Medicare For All would also expand LGBTQ mental health services and protect trans health access.

Protect The Right to Choose

Women–not politicians–should be trusted to make personal healthcare decisions, particularly when it comes to starting a family. I strongly oppose Republican attacks on Planned Parenthood and life-saving healthcare for women across the country and support full repeal of the Hyde Amendment.
