I’m working together with a strong coalition to change what Utah Democrats see as possible in the legislature. We can’t keep doing the same things and expect different outcomes. We need leaders who are focused on passing progressive policies and expanding the size of our caucuses in the Senate and the House. Compromise is one thing, but compromising our values is another.

I will vote with fellow Democrats when it comes to protecting our national monuments. I will stand behind the voice of my constituents when overwhelming majorities vote for important policies like medical marijuana and independent redistricting. And I’ll always treat my constituents and colleagues with the respect and dignity they deserve.

Utah is changing, and I’ll work hard to ensure that as our state grows, we can provide our communities with affordable housing, high quality public education, and a healthy environment.
